March is National Women’s History Month

Honoring Women in Cobb County and Around the World.

March is National Women’s History Month and in honor of women across the world, a special event was recently held at the Cobb Energy Center celebrating women who lead and inspire. In attendance at the 2020 Women’s History Month Salute2Women were business sector and community leaders who came together to recognize trailblazing women from Cobb County and the metropolitan area of Atlanta. The event was proudly produced by a woman-owned company with portions of the proceeds being donated to a non-profit organization that provides critical services to women in need.

In attendance were a number of distinguished women of Cobb County including Dr. Betty Ann Cook, Vanessa Murphy, Courtney Edwards, Terry Alexis Cummings, candidate for the Georgia House of Representatives and myself, Shelia Edwards, candidate for the Cobb County Commission.
