OH OH HERE SHE COMES! Erica Thomas out of hiding.

An article in the MDJ entitled Nearly 500 South Cobb Apartments sell for $35 Million by reporter Thomas Hartwell with a large picture next to the article of Erica Thomas has raised grave concern in the South Cobb community. After reading the article, I was extremely disappointed and taken aback as to why this reporter on a story about apartments being sold in Austell turn this article into the “Erica Thomas says” story?

Erica Thomas has put a dark stain on our community and her actions this summer has left the citizens of South Cobb disturbed and embarrassed. Single-handedly, she made the South Cobb community the laughing stock of the year. Our community was left damaged as the deceitful story that she manufactured exploded right in her face and onto the national and international media. I don't understand why this reporter would do a story today about apartments with comments from her and fail to mention what happened just three short months ago when she verbally attacked Eric Sparkes at Publix and then misled the public by claiming he attacked her? She attempted to cause an outright race war pitting Blacks against Whites, Blacks against Hispanics, Democrats against Republicans.

Goggle the name Erica Thomas and see what negative stories pop up and from which parts of the world they are generated. Her indefensible actions should not allow her to receive a single moment of space in anyone’s publication, let alone our local community paper the MDJ. Our South Cobb community remains troubled by her actions and I am troubled by this article that seems to give her a free pass on what she did in July of this year. MDJ should not do another story on her unless they are ready to provide the readers the truth pertaining to her.

If she wants to do something for our community, she should first apologize to the citizens of South Cobb for her dastardly deeds, then resign from the office.

She has been missing in action from our community since the Publix incident and she has failed to show leadership on a single issue. She has been bad news since day one, but her actions this summer were the final nail in her coffin. The citizen and voters of South Cobb WILL NOT FORGET!

We can do better and WE WILL, by electing a qualified person to serve as our next representative for the 39th District. Attorney Terry Alexis Cummings is running and has my vote. She will do a greater job for our community than MIA Erica Thomas. VOTE Attorney Terry Alexis Cummings if you want to see the CHANGE we deserve in South Cobb!
