Renters Rights Workshop February
Renters Rights Workshop hosted by We Thrive in Riverside Renters Association will be Sunday February 9th at 6:30pm and Monday February 10th at 6:30pm at Kingsley Village Apartments 595 Riverside Parkway Austell Georgia.
The workshop will allow for you to learn about advocating as a renter and forming partnerships with corporate landlords.
The South Cobb ( South Cobb High School and Pebblebrook attendance zone community) have 45 multi family style apartment complexes and the community as a whole45 percent renter occupied and there are subdivisions that contain rental homes as well. Rental rates in the south Cobb community are $900 for 2 bedrooms apartments which is cheaper than other parts of the county however still a challenge for families. Aging apartments have issues but with proactive tenants and apartments staff working together issues can be avoided.
At the workshop you will learn about making maintenance requests, documenting, provided resources how to get your rent, electric bill paid, how to be proactive.
Kingsley Village Apartments new Owners have established a great relationship with their tenants which we Thrive in Riverside Renters Association will be sharing.
