State Never Asked to Investigate South Cobb Mother Who Allegedly Killed Children, Herself

The Department of Health Services said they never had any dealings with the woman or her three children, who were all found dead Tuesday.

State of Georgia officials say that they never received any complaints about the South Cobb mother who allegedly killed her three children and then herself this week.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, a Department of Health Services spokeswoman said there had never been an investigation of Kisha S. Holmes, 35. The bodies of Holmes and her three children Justin, 10, Medina, 4, and a 9-month-old baby were discovered inside the Walton Crossing apartment complex in Austell on Tuesday morning.

Cobb County police are awaiting autopsy results which should determine the causes of death of each person, the AJC said.
