COBB COUNTY COMMUNITY LEADER TANIA K. ROBINSON ANNOUNCES CANDIDACY FOR GEORGIA STATE SENATE

COBB COUNTY -- September 5, 2019 -- Small business owner, community leader, and mother Tania K. Robinson announced today her intentions to run for the Georgia State Senate District 38 seat. The district encompasses parts of Cobb and Fulton counties.
“I believe it is my time to connect the community to the capitol,” Robinson said. “To legislate around the issues that face our district and find solutions. To bring accountability to the seat and our government. Our district 38 residents want and deserve change and true representation under the Gold Dome.”
The democrat has lived in Cobb County for more than 20 years and has been active politically and civically throughout metro Atlanta. Professionally, Robinson works as a financial planner and has helped hundreds of people and organizations maximize their money and prepare them for the future. Robinson is currently a Georgia Democratic Party State Committee Member, the Cobb County District 4 Field Director, and the Vice President of Membership for Cobb Democratic Women. She has represented voters as a delegate at Democratic National Convention in 2012.

As a concerned citizen, she has been involved in the fight for clean air following the discovery of potentially cancer-causing chemicals being released from the Sterigenics plant in her community. Listening to business and political representatives and voicing her concerns for the health and protection of the affected areas.

An official kick-off event for Robinson’s campaign is scheduled for later in September.
