In Custody: Suspect Accused of Shooting Woman 9 Times, According to Police

Suspect had avoided arrest for nearly six weeks, according to DeKalb County Sheriff's Office.

The suspect in a shooting in DeKalb County is in custody after authorities searched for six weeks, according to the Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Squad.

Joshua Isaiah Seals was wanted in the case of a woman shot nine times in a domestic dispute on Aug. 29. Seals had been considered armed and dangerous.

He was arrested in the City of Atlanta on Sept. 9. Seals was charged with aggravated assault and false imprisonment.
