• New park opens in Villa Rica with miles of walking trails (thegeorgiasun.com) — A new public park has just opened at 660 Moss Ferry Road in Villa Rica, offering miles of walking, running, and hiking trails. Donated by the Matthews family to Carroll County, the preserved greenspace replaces a planned 300-home development and provides convenient nature access for residents near Fairfield Plantation, Sandhill, and surrounding neighborhoods.
