Driver in Critical Condition Following 4-Car Accident

The Woodstock Police Department is investigating a four-vehicle accident on Highway 92 at West Wiley Bridge Road.

Crews with Cherokee County Fire and Emergency Services responded to the accident shortly before 2:30 p.m. Thursday, May 21.

It’s unclear how the collision occurred, but Cherokee County fire noted in its press release that at least one car was in the intersection at the time of the accident.

The female driver of the Lincoln suffered severe injuries and was transported to North Fulton Hospital in Roswell in critical condition, fire officials said. Other motorists who were involved in the accident were treated on the scene.

One lane of Highway 92 and one lane of West Wiley Bridge Road were blocked until the wreckage was cleared.
