Inouye International Airport from Terminal 2, baggage screening problems that caused delays have now been fixed, and extra arrival time is no longer needed. Victims say a masked intruder targeted specific jewelry and shattered their sense of safety, while CrimeStoppers Honolulu and Stolen Stuff Hawaii are urging anyone with tips to come forward.

3. Hawaiʻi Supreme Court Suspends Attorney Barry Lloyd Sooalo for 30 Days (alabnews.com) — A Honolulu criminal defense attorney, Barry Lloyd Sooalo, has been suspended from practicing law for 30 days following Hawaiʻi Supreme Court disciplinary action. 4. Family seeks answers after Moore woman dies in Hawaii (kfor.com) — A Southwest flight attendant from Oklahoma was found dead during a work layover in Waikiki, Honolulu, and her family is pressing local authorities for answers. Loved ones say she had future plans and doubt the death was self-inflicted, while supporters are rallying help for her son and relatives as the investigation continues.

5. Before aid arrives, Hawaii's community networks step up (staradvertiser.com) — Community groups from Honolulu and across the islands are stepping in with food, generators, housing help, and spiritual support long before federal disaster aid reaches residents hit by Hurricane Lala.
