MCHENRY COUNTY, IL – The McHenry County Sheriff's Office handed out several citations as part of increased enforcement efforts over the Thanksgiving holiday. The mobilization included two drunken driving arrests, three driving while suspended or revoked arrests and one drug arrest. In addition, the following citations were issued: <ul><li>41 seat belt/child restraint citations</li><li>34 Speeding citations</li><li>12 no insurance citations</li><li>11 Electronic Communication Device citations</li></ul>This law enforcement mobilization was funded by federal traffic safety funds through the Illinois Department of Transportation and is part of the nationwide "Click It or Ticket" and "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" campaigns, according to a news release. <ul><li><a href="https://patch.com/illinois/chicago/get-patched-subscribe-patch-email-0">Get News Alerts and Newsletters from Patch </a> </li></ul>PHOTO VIA SHUTTERSTOCK
