ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The following information comes from the Arlington Heights Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court.

DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED/REVOKED LICENSE

  • Calum J. Bonds, 23, is accused of driving on a suspended license, and was arrested at 9:25 p.m. April 6, at The Residences, 300 block of E. Seegers Road. Bond was set at $2,500 and a court date of May 13 was assigned.
  • Manuel De Jesus Cordero, 49, is accused of driving on a suspended license, and was arrested at 9:41 p.m. April 6, in the 1200 block of N. Rand Road, Prospect Heights. Bond was set at $2,500 and a court date of May 16 was assigned.
  • Ignacio Alberto Cortes, 32, is accused of driving on a suspended license, and was arrested at 12:18 a.m. April 4, in the 100 block of E. Rand Road. Bond was set at $5,000 and a court date of May 2 was assigned.
  • Ryan T. Grahf, 28, is accused of driving on a suspended license, and was arrested at 4:43 p.m. April 6, at E. Algonquin Road and S. Goebbert Road. Bond was set at $2,500 and a court date of May 13 was assigned.
  • Fatima Olvera Alvarado, 20, is accused of driving on a suspended license, and was arrested at 5:08 p.m. April 5, at S. Buffalo Grove Road. Bond was set at $2,500 and a court date of April 26 was assigned.
  • Roy E. Wisemiller, 58, is accused of driving on a revoked license, and was arrested at 3:54 p.m. April 7, in the 600 block of W. Rand Road. Bond was set at $2,500 and a court date of April 26 was assigned.

NO DRIVER'S LICENSE

  • Frederick D. Claiborne, 29, is accused of operating a motor vehicle with no valid license, and was arrested at 12:48 a.m. April 6, in the 700 block of S. Arlington Heights Road. Bond was set at $2,500 and a court date of May 13 was assigned.
  • Martha M. Mariscal, 22, is accused of operating a motor vehicle with no valid license, and was arrested at 2:30 a.m. April 8, at Frontage Road and Derbyshire Lane. Bond was set at $2,500 and a court date of April 26 was assigned.

VIOLATION OF BAIL BOND

Onofre Ortiz-Marquina, 43, had a warrant for violation of bail bond, and was arrested at 11 p.m. April 3, at the Aurora Police Department. Bond was set at $5,000 and a court date of April 20 was assigned.

DOMESTIC BATTERY

Tatiana Shtrakhman, 61, is accused of domestic battery, violation of bail bond, and was arrested at 8 p.m. April 1, in Arlington Heights. Bond was set at $10,000 and a court date of April 11 was assigned.

INCIDENTS

RETAIL THEFT

  • An employee of a business in the 200 block of E. Palatine Road reported at 9:04 a.m. March 28, a man in his late 20s, with brown curly hair, thin build, approximately 6-foot tall, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and a black baseball hat stole a bottle of Robitussin Cough Syrup and two bags of Jack Links Beef Jerky. The suspect left in a black Toyota SUV.
  • An employee of a business in the 2300 block of S. Arlington Heights Road called police at 11:05 a.m. March 31, to report a man, about 5-foot-6, walked into the store wearing a black beanie, black face mask, jeans and a black coat and stole a Zoom Trak Mixer. The Zoom Trak Mixer is valued at $649.99. The subject left in a vehicle described as a late 90s or early 2000s black Mercedes SUV.

VANDALISM

A resident in the 1200 block of N. Walnut Avenue called police to report that between March 28 and April 1, her house was egged by an unknown group of juveniles.

THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE PARTS OR ACCESSORIES

  • A resident in the 900 block of W. Alleghany Drive reported that between March 31 and April 1, someone stole the catalytic converter off her 2009 Ford SUV. The approximate value of the catalytic converter is $400.
  • Two residents in the 700 block of W. Rand Road called police to report that during the overnight hours of April 1, reported someone stole the catalytic converters of their 2019 Ford and 2006 Ford Panel Van. The approximate cost of each catalytic converter is $400.
  • A person in the 300 block of E. Seegers Road reported on April 2 someone stole the catalytic converter off his 1993 Cadillac Deville. The cost to replace the catalytic converter is unknown at this time.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON

Security cameras at a business in the 700 block of W. Dundee Road captured someone in the parking lot walking in-between cars at around 2:57 a.m. April 2. No description was provided by the security company, and officers did not locate anyone on site.

THEFT

  • A person in the 900 block of W. Dundee Road placed their belongings in a locker at 8:30 a.m. April 2, and secured it with a paddock. Upon returning to his locker, the victim found the lock cut and his wallet stolen. The offender subsequently made an unauthorized purchase with the victim’s credit card.
  • A person in the 300 block of E. Palatine Road reported placing his belongings in a locker at 9 a.m. April 2, and secured it with a lock. Upon returning to his locker, the victim found the lock broken and on the floor. A check of the locker revealed the victim’s wallet was missing.
