Mount Prospect police say the woman's Ford SUV collided with a Toyota driven by a 91-year-old Mount Prospect resident, closing the busy intersection for hours while investigators reconstructed the scene and now seek additional witnesses.

Four-bedroom home sells in Arlington Heights for $1.14 million (shawlocal.com) — A four-bedroom, 2,598-square-foot home at 304 South Mitchell Avenue in Arlington Heights recently sold for $1.14 million, highlighting strong demand in that neighborhood. Nearby properties on South Walnut, South Mitchell, and South Ridge have also fetched high prices, offering residents a snapshot of current local home values and trends.
   

3. Arlington Heights Board Weighs How Much Public Comment Belongs In Meeting Minutes (patch.com) — Arlington Heights officials are rethinking how detailed Village Board meeting minutes should be, after a resident warned that shorter summaries could feel like censorship of public comments. The board ultimately approved earlier minutes while agreeing to keep discussing the issue, and also heard concerns about the village's license plate camera program, "sip and stroll" events, and a proposed Leo Street project near Beverly Park.
