Father, Son Charged After $11K, Gun, Drugs Found In Aurora Twshp.

Police say Hector Reyna Jr. and Hector Reyna Sr. had cocaine, cannabis, a handgun and thousands of dollars in cash.

AURORA TOWNSHIP, IL — A father and son face multiple felony charges after police say they found $11,000 in cash, a handgun, three pounds of weed and 2.5 grams of coke on them during a search of a home in the 200 block of Parkside Ave. Hector Reyna Sr. and Hector Reyna Jr. also had "evidence of packaging cannabis and cocaine for delivery" in the home, according to a release from Kane County Sheriff Ron Hain.

Hector Reyna Sr. was charged with possession of cannabis with intent to deliver, possession of cannabis, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, possession of a weapon without a FOID card and possession of a controlled substance. Reyna Jr. was charged with with possession of more than 100, but less than 500 grams of cannabis.

Reyna Sr. is currently being held in Kane County Jail, with bail set at $30,000.
