The Cary Fire Protection District transported Serritella to Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital where he was pronounced dead. There were no signs of foul play and impairment due to drugs or alcohol does not appear to have been a factor.
An investigation is being conducted by the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office and the Lake County Coroner’s Office.
