About Heightened Health: Functional Family Medicine
Heightened Health, S.C. is a Direct Primary Care Functional Family Medicine practice. We serve our patients by addressing the underlying root causes of chronic disease. Since chronic disease emerges as the result of physiological imbalances and dysfunctions, poor lifestyle choices, genetic predispositions, and environmental influences, we employ a personalized, patient-centered, whole-person approach to healthcare, rather than a conventional, one-size-fits-all, disease-oriented focus.
Our goal is to foster a proactive, vested partnership between patient and physician that helps heal, empower, and educate. Though curing or reversing a disease process is not always possible, our intention is to promote and restore wellness throughout one’s lifetime by supporting every patient’s potential for optimal physical, mental, and emotional health.
