Another Attempted Kidnapping Reported In Beverly
Police say the same man approached the same woman at the same location just a few weeks ago.
CHICAGO - Chicago police are investigating yet another attempted kidnapping in the city's Beverly neighborhood. The most recent report described as an attempted child abduction occurred at the CTA bus stop at 103rd and Prospect on April 24, police said in a community alert.
Police say the victim, a young female, was at the bus stop at 7:35 a.m. when a man believed to be between 55 and 60 years old made gestures and engaged the victim in a conversation while attempting to get her into his car.
The community alert states that the same man approached the same victim at the same location around the same time of the day on April 3.

The offender is described by police as having a medium complexion and wearing a backwards navy blue baseball cap with a green bill during the most recent crime reported. He has dark eyes, possibly brown, and is clean shaven. He spoke with an accent while trying to pick up the victim.
His car is 4-door, tan with a tan interior. The victim saw something red in the back seat of the car, police said.

This is the third attempted kidnapping reported in the Beverly neighborhood in the span of one week, with earlier incidents reported at 111th and Campbell and at the 7-Eleven store just west of 103rd and Western.
