Deerfield Park District Recreation Supervisor Adam Wohl, who is in charge of Outdoor Pool operations at Deerspring and Mitchell Pools, reminds the public that swimming at Mitchell Pool closes for the season, on Sunday, August 11. However, Deerspring Pool, 200 Deerfield Road remains open with “End of Season” Hours through Labor Day, Monday, September 2.
Wohl says, “Deerspring Pool will have extended Adult (18+) Lap Swim hours, Monday through Friday, August 12 – Friday, August 16, from 5:30 – 9:15 a.m. and from 12:15 – 1:00 p.m. In addition, Parent/Tot Swim and “Kiddie/Splash Only” hours for the same week are being extended from 9:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Open Swim that week will be from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.
