Presenting Rock Steady Boxing Chicago North Shore

We are pleased to present an inspirational video featuring, Rock Steady Boxing at Falcon Boxing Gym, an innovative program designed to help people with Parkinson’s by improving their quality of life through a non-contact boxing based fitness curriculum. Rock Steady Boxing, the first and only boxing program of its kind in the country, was founded in 2006 by former Marion County Prosecutor, Scott C. Newman, who is living with Parkinson’s.

At Falcon Boxing Gym in Glenview, head coach and trainer Dan Falcon, continues to help people with Parkinson’s through this effective and motivational program. Rock Steady Boxing classes are held six times a week with a growing list of participants and supporters. Exercises vary in purpose and form but share one common trait: they are rigorous and intended to extend the perceived capabilities of the participant.
