Sandwich, IL - The newest member of the Classic Cinemas’ family will open its doors on Friday, September 23, in Sandwich, Ill. Cinema 7 (formerly the WOW7 Cinema), 101 Duvick Ave., is Sandwich’s favorite hometown theatre, and will open at 4 PM with screenings of “The Magnificent Seven” (PG-13/132 min) and “Storks,” (PG-89 min), an animated family film.
Cinema 7 will deliver all the latest features in the movie-going experience including seven screens with enhanced digital projection and sound as well as stadium seating.
Other amenities include a party room, free refills on ALL sizes of popcorn, soft drinks and ICEES. Opening specials include a free small popcorn or free 46- ounce popcorn with free refills with each ticket purchase.

“We are thrilled to join the community and continue to be Sandwich’s hometown theatre,” says Classic Cinemas CEO Chris Johnson. “This is a fun and exciting location for our company and there will be lots of improvements being made in the months ahead to enhance the movie-going experience for our guests.” The Cinema 7 was previously owned as the WOW 7 by the Webb Family, with Ralph and his daughter Cindy opening the theatre on Thanksgiving Day, 1989.

Cinema 7 guests will be able to take advantage of the Classic Rewards Program. The loyalty program allows guests to earn points by purchasing tickets, concessions and gift cards. Points then can be used to get FREE concessions and movie tickets without restrictions. As an added bonus, members receive advance movie schedules, special offers and discounts.
Cinema 7 will kick off Halloween festivities on at 10 AM on Saturday, October 29 with a screening of the animated family film “Hotel Transylvania 2” (PG-89 min). Admission is $1 per person; free for patrons in costume.
