The Downers Grove South Swim and Dive Team continued their winning ways with a dominating performance against Leyden. The team never trailed as Varsity Divers Giana Fallara and Maddie Puccillo secured the top two places for the Mustangs. The 200 Yard Medley Relay team of Alyssa Reinholz, Makaila Scheiblein, Jillian Scott, and Paige Vondrasek swam away with the win. Beth Vetter and Allie Puccillo placed first and second in the 200 Yard Free, while Jorie Selig, Melanie Scheiblein, and Jillian Scott swept the 200 Yard IM. Alyssa Reinholz, Annie Leinart, and Paige Vondrasek took first, second, and third in the 50 Yard Freestyle followed by Jorie Selig winning the 100 Yard Butterfly and Anna Bogdanski securing victory in the 100 Yard Freestyle.
Next up, Beth Vetter, Annie Leinart, and Jillian Scott secured the top three places in the 500 Yard Freestyle. The Mustang 200 Yard Freestyle Relay teams also swept the top three places. Allie Puccillo, Paige Vondrasek, Makaila Scheiblein, and Alyssa Reinholz won the event, while the team of Melanie Scheiblein, Anna Bogdanski, Annie Leinart, and Jorie Selig placed second and the team of Kaitlyn Hopp, Aoife McGivern, Kylie Moser, and Savannah Duax placed third.
In the final portion of the meet, Kylie Moser and Paige Vondrasek placed first and second in the 100 Yard Backstroke and sisters Makaila and Melanie Scheiblein took the top two places in the 100 Yard Breaststroke. Ending a night of great swimming, the 400 yard Freestyle Relay teams of Allie Puccillo, Emma Sayre, Makaila Scheiblein, and Alyssa Reinholz placed first and the team of Melanie Scheiblein, Anna Bogdanski, Annie Leinart, and Jorie Selig placed second. Next up for the lady mustangs is the Downers Grove South Invitational.
