The highly ranked Downers Grove South Mustangs Boys Volleyball Team will celebrate their senior players and parents prior to game this Tuesday night, May 17th with the annual Senior Night festivities. A second grade student at Hillcrest Elementary School in Downers Grove, Dillon Kohls, will start off the festivities singing an A cappella solo of The Star Spangled Banner.
Mustangs Varsity Head Coach, Tony Nevrly, saw Kohls open the Hillcrest Elementary annual Variety Show with The Star Spangled Banner. Impressed with the performance, asked the 2nd grader to sing before his varsity volleyball team's Senior Night.
The Mustangs varsity volleyball will honor ten senior players and their parents, including Mike Zinnecker, Mike Ficaro, Travis Coomer, Sam Kull, Bryan Ruggiero, Paris McFall, Brad Widdel, Drew Byczynski, Kevin Halloran and David Manganiello.
