5 & 10 Miler

The Downers Grove Park District’s 34th Annual 5 & 10 Miler are CARA Certified Races. The USATF-certified, rolling five-mile course through Downers Grove is well marked and monitored and features four aid/water stations. Ten miler participants complete two laps of the course. First, second and third place finishers in all age categories are awarded medals. Overall top male and female finishers receive plaques. Plaques are also awarded to the overall top male and female Downers Grove resident finishers. The first 500 registrants receive a Technical Race Shirt. Advance registration ends at 4 p.m., June 7. Entry forms are available at the Recreation Center and Lincoln Center. On-line registration at the sites listed below carry a surcharge. Runners can also register by phone or in person on the day of the race, beginning at 6 a.m.
