Park District Conducts Lottery for Field Permits

The is conducting a lottery for advance athletic field permits for the 2012 Spring/Summer season. The lottery is open to Downers Grove Park District residents and groups made up of at least 60% residents. Information on the specific dates and field locations that are available can be found on the District’s website at http://www.dgparks.org/Rentals/athletic-fields.htm. Requests will be accepted through January 20^th and then processed via a computerized lottery system. Confirmations will be distributed January 30^th. Groups that do not meet the stated criteria and/or requests for other dates not included in the lottery will be accepted beginning April 15^th.

Fields will be permitted according to established time blocks and charged in accordance with the current rate schedule. All individuals, groups/organizations will be required to verify residency by providing a membership listing or roster, which is to include member names and addresses.
