SVEDKA Releases $5 Flip Phone that Comes with Vodka

The SVEDPHONE leans into Y2K-era tech while tapping into growing conversations around digital burnout.

As summer nights and festival season approach, SVEDKA is introducing a playful new way to stay connected…by downgrading your phone.

The vodka brand recently launched the SVEDPHONE, a Fembot approved $5, limited-edition chrome-blue flip phone that brings communication back to basics, with only call and text capabilities. Each device also includes a built-in bonus: a SVEDKA vodka shooter.

The SVEDPHONE leans into Y2K-era tech while tapping into growing conversations around digital burnout. It’s built for making plans, sending quick messages and being present in the moment rather than documenting it.

“The SVEDPHONE is not anti-tech - it’s pro-socialization and connection,” said David Binder, Senior Brand Director at SVEDKA. “From festival fields to rooftop parties, SVEDPHONE transforms real-world moments into playful, shareable experiences, eliminating the pressure to check your notifications every few minutes.”

SVEDPHONES will drop online April 14 and April 17 at 9 a.m. EST at svedka.com/svedphone for $5. Each phone also comes with pre-purchased minutes to load on it and a SVEDKA shooter.
