Thirty Years - What Dedication

Hanna Benioff is special in so many ways. As Senior Services Coordinator, Hanna is the “go to” person for anyone who is seeking to talk about the needs of older adults. June 1, 2016 marked thirty years of service to the residents of Downers Grove Township. If we were to attempt to quantify the number of lives she’s impacted, it would be in the thousands. It’s not just about the numbers though. Hanna is someone who gives it all.

Whether you call or come in to speak with Hanna, it is apparent that she is knowledgeable. Her years here at the Township have garnered numerous community connections. Those connections have been forged with a vast amount of genuine care, kindness, empathy, and a work ethic that is admirable. Whether speaking with a community organization whom she collaborates with, a resident whom she’s helped, or a co-worker, all would tell you that Hanna is someone special; a person who believes that relationships are the foundation of creating and sustaining a healthy community.

The Township is proud to not only have thirty years. We are proud at the example you have set to all who know you. You represent the best of what it means to be a public servant. Your light shines brightly for all to see and follow. Thank you Hanna.
