Leyden announces results from FBLA leadership conference

Leyden student members of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) participated in the education association's leadership conference.

The students, who are members of FBLA chapters at the East and West campuses, participated in competitive events and finished in top ten slots.

Leyden students were among the more than 900 members from 25 northern Illinois FBLA chapters that participated in the conference. The event included activities in personal development, business and leadership training, election of 2019-20 area officers, and numerous competitions.

The following Leyden students finished in the top ten of their competitive event and have qualified to participate at the FBLA State Leadership Conference to be held April 5-6, in Springfield.

Future Business Leaders of America – Phi Beta Lambda, is a nationwide, nonprofit association with a quarter million students preparing for careers in business and business-related fields.

Thirteen students will advance to the FBLA Illinois state conference to be held April 5-6 in Springfield.
