Woman Killed In Elmhurst Crash Identified
The driver went over the center line and struck another car, police said.
ELMHURST, IL – The woman who died last Wednesday in a fatal crash in Elmhurst has been identified.
She is Renee Oden, 37, of Chicago, Elmhurst police said. Patch could find no online obituary for Oden.
The other driver was a 48-year-old woman from neighboring Hillside, police said.

Shortly after 5 a.m., Oden was headed east on St. Charles Road near Kenmore Avenue in a Chevrolet SUV with a 4-year-old boy and a 2-year-old girl when she went over the center line, according to a police news release.
Oden hit a westbound Audi SUV, whose driver, the 48-year-old woman, was taken to Elmhurst Hospital for serious injuries, police said. The other driver had no passengers.

The children, who suffered serious injuries, were taken to Loyola University Medical Center, police said.
