Anti-Semitic Graffiti Found at Northwestern Library
Images did not cause immediate danger, but President calls them "offensive."

Racist and anti-Semitic graffiti was found on the campus of Northwestern University sometime over the past week.
The graffiti was found in the University’s Library. A school alert indicated it did not pose an “immediate danger” to the campus or any individual, according to the Chicago Tribune.
University police continue to investigate.

Northwestern President Morton Schapiro called the acts “offensive to the entire Northwestern community.”
“Northwestern seeks to provide a safe and welcoming environment for students, faculty and staff of all races and religious beliefs. That is one of our guiding principles and something we work hard on every single day,” Schapiro said.
