After Bank Robbery Arrest, Tynan Won't Play Grundy Corn Festival
Tynan was put into the Will County Jail Thursday night. Joliet police say he robbed the First Midwest Bank that morning.

JOLIET, IL — Tynan, the self-proclaimed "No. 1 Horn Driven Party Rock Band" in Chicagoland, will not perform at the Grundy County Corn Festival Sept. 27 as scheduled after the band's namesake, Tom Tynan, was arrested Thursday on charges of bank robbery, a crime that usually leads to prison time.
The 59-year-old Joliet resident is accused of knocking over the First Midwest Bank Thursday on Joliet's west side.
WJOL, 1340-AM, Joliet's top news radio station, broke the news on Friday regarding Tynan's talents as a musician. The radio station noted that Tynan recently performed at the Illinois State Fair.
