Kiddie Porn Charges Filed Following Friday Morning Raid
The cops raided an Elwood man's home and arrested him on child pornography charges.

ELWOOD, IL — The cops raided an Elwood man’s home and charged him with possessing child pornography.
Randy Gomez, 41, was booked into the Will County jail on two counts of possessing child porn.
Cache, the Will County State's Attorney's High Technology Crimes Unit dog, was brought along on the raid.

Cache, a Labrador trained to detect hidden electronic devices, was put to work on a raid in Will County for the first time just last week. The dog was used to search the home of 29-year-old David Wegner. Wegner was found to be in possession of child pornography, police said, as well as five dogs and an abundance of birds, possibly more than two dozen.
The cops had obtained a warrant to search Gomez’s home and seized his computers, police said.
