Now Beatles Blues: Coronavirus Impacts Several Rialto Events
If you are unable to attend the new date, refunds are available at point of purchase, Rialto officials said.

JOLIET, IL — The Rialto Square Theatre got off to a great start this year drawing several thousand people to downtown Joliet for several big-name acts. Then, the new coronavirus came along. On Wednesday afternoon, the Rialto announced that several upcoming concerts, shows and movie night performances for the remainder of March, all of April and one in early May are being rescheduled to a later date or they're being canceled altogether.
All of the schedule changes are because of the coronavirus, Rialto's marketing department indicated.
Here's a rundown of the shows that are impacted and what will happen:

- Movie night screening of "A Star is Born," March 19, canceled.
- Miranda Sings, March 22, changed to Aug. 29.
- The band Chicago, April 7, rescheduled to Oct. 14.
- Country music artist Gary Allan, April 9, moved to May 28.
- Movie night screening of "The Greatest Showman," April canceled
- Rain-A Tribute to the Beatles, May 8, postponed, rescheduled date to be announced.
- All Rialto theater Tuesday tours are suspended until May.
"Previously purchased tickets to rescheduled events will be honored at the new date. If you are unable to attend the new date, refunds are available at point of purchase," the Rialto announced.

Tickets purchased through the Rialto box office need to be returned for a refund. Rialto Square Theatre box office: 815-726-6600. Ticketmaster support: 800-653-8000.
The Rialto is keeping its box office open noon to 2 p.m. Monday-Friday.
"The Rialto Square Theatre is undergoing professional cleaning and disinfecting all surfaces that can be touched in and around our venue as part of our enhanced cleaning procedures. The staff continues to monitor the health of our employees and direct them to stay at home if they are not feeling well," Rialto's press release noted.
