Smooth Criminal and a Hamburglar? New Lenox Smoothie Store Bandit Also Stuck Up Channahon McDonald's: Cops
The New Lenox man knocked over the McDonald's the same week he stuck up the smoothie place, police said.

A New Lenox man jailed for allegedly sticking up a Lincoln Highway smoothie store also robbed a Channahon McDonald’s, police said.
Kellen Bean, 31, was hit with the McDonald’s case soon after he was taken into custody Tuesday for allegedly holding up Tropical Smoothie in New Lenox. Bean was apprehended at Silver Cross Hospital, where he was seeking medical assistance for a minor issue, according to a statement issued by the police.
Bean was living at the Chelsea Court home of his parents, less than a mile from Tropical Smoothie and where the police said he has resided for nearly 20 years.
