Lake Forest Man Tried To Scare Dog Owner With Shotgun: Cops
John Zajac faces charges of disorderly conduct and reckless conduct from Franklin Place incident.

A Lake Forest man who was trying to scare the owner of a defecating dog in a condominium building was arrested for reckless and disorderly conduct after police found him sitting on a hallway floor with a shotgun.
Lake Forest police arrested John J. Zajac, 69, of the first block of East Franklin Place shortly after arriving at 8:36 p.m. on May 19. Zajac allegedly told police he was sitting in the hallway with the gun waiting to frighten the owner of a dog that had defecated in several places in the building, according to the Lake Forester.
The shotgun (unloaded at the time), along with other several firearms found, were confiscated.
