Men's Fight Ends In Possible Battery Charges: Montgomery Police

The court appearances for two Montgomery men involved in Oct. 1 fight will take place in Aurora.

MONTGOMERY, IL — Montgomery Police Officers said they were called to the 600 block of North Main Street for a reported fight at 6:22 p.m. Monday, Oct. 1 involving two men. Police said when officer arrived they learned 36-year-old Roberto Jr. Moren0, of the 1400 block of Manning Avenue, and 40-year-old Joel Gonzalez, of the 100 block of W. Grant Street, had a physical altercation after a verbal argument.

Both Moreno and Gonzalez had superficial injuries from the fight and were given a Notice to Appear for battery, police said.

According to police, both men were arrested before being released at the scene, and have a future court date scheduled in Aurora.
