• Shots Fired After Resident Attempts To Interrupt Car Theft: Montgomery Police (patch.com) — A Montgomery resident who tried to stop thieves from stealing a Dodge Durango on Mayfield Drive early Tuesday was shot at, though no one was hurt. Police tracked the stolen SUV into Chicago, detained three people, and recovered a gun, while urging Montgomery residents to lock vehicles, use lighting and cameras, and call 911 instead of confronting suspects.
