Swing Time: A woman who warned Joliet police β€œyou’re not going to like it” if they uncuffed her delivered on the promise when they took off her handcuffs. She stripped off her urine-soaked sweatpants and swung them at the officers, then she flung feces at them. Β» Joliet Patch

Someone Somewhere is Up to No Good: Very suspicious goings-on were reported to the Lake Bluff police late last month by the peek-from-behind-the-curtain brigade. In one, a mysterious black pickup truck on Pine Court was being loaded up with belongings. In another, a man was seen walking down the street at 9 p.m. and someone thought he was drunk. When police arrived at the scene of the pickup truck mystery, they learned a young man was packing up to leave for college. Joyride of a Lifetime: A homeless man took a liking to a Corvette parked in front of the Chicago Heights police station. So he sat in it. And then he saw the keys there, so he started. And then he decided to take a joyride ... straight to a strip club. When cops caught up to him, he told them he liked the car so much he wanted to buy it from the owner. Β» Chicago Heights Patch
