Countdown to July 4: Where To See Fireworks Near Palatine!

Palatine's Hometown Fest Fireworks — July 3

At 9:30 p.m. ooh and ahh over the fireworks put on by the Palatine Jaycees during the annual Hometown Fest. The fireworks cost about $25,000 and are paid for through donations and money raised at the fest. Share with us in the comments section the best place to watch the fireworks!

Arlington Heights — July 4

Head on over to Arlington Park on the Fourth of July for a day filled with music, food and, of course, horse racing. Post time is 4 p.m., and gates open at 1 p.m.

After the races, stick around for a major fireworks display. The first 10,000 in attendance will receive 3D Fireworks Glasses, and the first 1,000 kids will receive a complementary Firecracker Popsicle.

Rolling Meadows — July 4

For fireworks and a fun parade, Rolling Meadows will have you covered on July 4. The parade steps off at 11:30 a.m. and will follow this route: Central Road to Jay Lane to Grouse Lane to Meadow Drive to Kirchoff Road. Fireworks begin at 9:15 p.m. at Salk Park.

Barrington — July 4

The 28th annual Barrington Fourth of July Celebration on July 4 will include a Fourth of July parade beginning at 10 a.m. at Barrington High School, music presented by Barrington's community band from noon to 2 p.m., and of course a fireworks display.

Fireworks can be seen best from the lawn of , at Lake Cook and Hart roads.
