Palatine to Do Special Curbside Brush Pickup Monday
Palatine is going to be undertaking a sweep of the village on Monday to collect any remaining brush resulting from the storm earlier this week.
The Palatine Department of Public Works will do a one-time curbside brush pick-up on Monday, July 30. Palatine asks that residents have loose brush out at the curb by 7 a.m. on Monday, July 30. Crews will make one pass only through the entire village.
Guidelines:
- Brush must be eight inches or less to accommodate the chipper.
- Firewood or tree stumps are not accepted because of the potential damage to the chipper.
- Cut ends must face the curb with branches as long as possible.
