What would happen if the characters from the PBS show Sesame Street grew up and went a little wild? That’s the premise behind Avenue Q, a Tony Award-winning musical coming to Palatine's .

From June 2 to 17, Music on Stage will present the Chicagoland premiere of Avenue Q, a comedy intended for adult audiences that features the use of puppets by the actors. The musical tells the story of Princeton, a recent college graduate who moves to New York and meets several colorful characters along the way. ()

Tickets are on sale through the Cutting Hall Box Office, 150 E. Wood Street in Palatine: 847-202-5222, or online by visiting musiconstage.org. Advance ticket sales are $20 for reserved seating, while ‘Silver Citizens' (age 62 & over) are $17.

The Ghost Walk of Palatine is a two-hour walking tour of the downtown area which includes the ghost lore of Palatine collected over many years.  The ghost stories are about public places that have been reported to be haunted over the years.  The cost is $ 5 per person with all proceeds going to the Haitian Relief Fund.  Reservations are requested.  Please call 847-358-6091 to reserve a tour.
