The autumn months weave a special kind of enchantment; one that heightens our senses and allows us to find magic in even the most mundane of things.  Join Kayla as she guides you in an immersive journey to the autumn woods at dusk.  With the sounds of singing bowls, drum, chimes, and sacred song Kayla will help you connect with the wild, ancient beauty of the season.  
Kayla Frischkorn is a sound healer, Reiki master, and professional vocalist based in the Chicago suburbs.  During her sound healing ceremonies, she uses guided meditation and song to help participants access a rich, peaceful and restorative inner space. Her goal as a sound healer is to help participants experience deep rest while tuning into the power of their imaginations.

Join us for 108: A Guided Seasonal Practice — an intentional heated practice honoring the changing seasons and the natural transitions they invite.
Throughout the year, the solstices and equinoxes mark meaningful points in our journey around the sun — moments that invite us to pause, notice what is shifting, and reconnect with where we are.
The solstices bring us to the longest and shortest days of the year, while the equinoxes mark moments of balance between light and darkness. Each offers a different reminder: to celebrate, reflect, release, restore, or begin again.
Through mindful movement, breath, meditation, and guided reflection, you’ll be led through 108 Sun Salutations. The repetition becomes a moving meditation — an opportunity to move beyond simply completing the poses and instead settle into the rhythm of your breath, your body, and the present moment.
You are always encouraged to listen to your body, pause when needed, modify freely, or take rest. Completing all 108 Sun Salutations is never a requirement.
Open to all levels, this practice is an opportunity to honor the season you are in — both around you and within you — and move forward with greater clarity, presence, and intention.

What happens when the person who moves into your spare bedroom opens the door to an entirely different life?
Parker Players Theater Company presents Jen Silverman’s The Roommate, a sharp, funny and unexpectedly moving comedy about friendship, identity and the possibility of starting over—at any age.
Sharon is recently divorced, living alone in Iowa and wondering what comes next. Enter Robyn, her new roommate: mysterious, unconventional and carrying a past that is decidedly more colorful than Sharon’s. As the two women become fascinated by each other’s lives, their unlikely friendship begins to challenge everything they thought they knew about themselves.
Sharon has spent a lifetime doing what was expected of her. Robyn has spent hers breaking rules and reinventing herself. But as each woman begins trying on pieces of the other’s world, The Roommate
asks a provocative question: Are we defined by who we say we are—or by what we choose to do next?
Directed by Kurt Naebig and starring Barrington residents Ann Field and Jennifer McHugh, The Roommate is an intimate, entertaining two-woman play filled with humor, surprises and genuine heart.
For anyone who has ever looked at their life and wondered, “What if I’m not finished becoming who I want to be?”

Join us for a deeply immersive Full Moon Gong Wash and sound experience.
An evening created to help you slow down, release, and reconnect.
As you rest comfortably, you’ll be surrounded by the rich vibrations of the gong and other soothing sound instruments. The waves of sound invite the nervous system to settle, the mind to quiet, and the body to soften into a meditative state. Held beneath the energy of the full moon, this practice offers space for reflection, release, and renewal.
No prior meditation or sound bath experience is needed. Simply come as you are, get comfortable, and allow the sound to wash over you.
Please bring a yoga mat along with any blankets, pillows, bolsters, or eye coverings that will help you feel supported while lying down. A limited number of studio props will also be available.
All levels and experience levels are welcome.
