The Alliance for Early Childhood, your local Park Districts, and local libraries invite you to take the First Days of Summer Park-a-Day Challenge from 9 am to 12 noon and from 3-5 pm. Today visit Vattman Park, Wilmette (1461 Lake Ave., wet of Green Bay Road.) It's a great way for children to play together, for parents to meet other parents, and for families to enjoy the North Shore's amazing park district spaces! You'll find baskets of "loose parts" to spark children's creativity as they play. Storytime will be provided by the Wilmette Public Library at 4 pm.
Note that no adult supervision is provided at the parks. This is not a drop off program. Parents are responsible for their own children at each park. Park-a-Day will
occur rain or shine.
