9 St. Scholastica Students Receive Gold Science Awards at State
St. Scholastica was one of four schools in the state where every student sent to state competition received this distinction.

All nine students who progressed to the state science fair competition in May received gold awards at the fair, the highest a student can receive.
More than 250 schools participate in the Illinois Junior Academy of Science State Exposition. Thirty-nine schools in the state had nine or more projects at the fair.
St. Scholastica was one of only four schools in the state with nine or more projects receiving gold awards.

Sixteen St. Scholastica students were submitted to the school's regional science fair competition. Nine advanced to the Illinois Junior Academy of Science State Exposition, which was held at the University of Illinois in early May.
