"Students who sign with Division I and Division II schools have their individual signing days," said Randy Konstans, athletic director for South. "Students who sign with Division III don't have a day like this."
That's why Konstans organized the event -- to give recognition to all of the school's athletes who will continue to play in college.
He said he also organized the event so the students could be recognized as a whole.
"Sometimes people are so caught up in their own sports that they don't realize that we have four baseball players going on to play in college," Konstans said. "Then they think, 'We must have a good program.'...This is really to bring us all together."

Added April 27: Mike McAleer will be playing lacrosse for Augustana in the fall.
