2011 Chevy Malibu stolen 

Someone stole a white 2011 Chevy Malibu after the driver left the vehicle running outside a business in the 1900 block of 75th Street around 9 p.m., police said.

Someone marked playground equipment with spray paint around midnight in , police said.

Aug. 1

Theft at Kohl's 

Roxann Wagner, 25, from the 22000 block of Ocala Court in Plainfield, was arrested at midnight and charged with retail theft after she removed miscellaneous clothing and a pair of sandals from Kohl’s, 1001 75th St., police said. 

July 30 

Attempted entry to home 

Someone attempted to enter a home in the 8100 block of Waterbury Drive through the window around 5 a.m., police said. When the person was spotted, they fled the area on foot.

License plate removed

Someone removed the front license plate of a car in the 2500 block of Waterbury Drive between 7 p.m. July 30 and 8:45 p.m. on July 31, police said. 

Car scratched  

Someone left a large scratch on the passenger side of a car in the 7900 block of Woodridge Drive around 7 p.m., police said. 

July 29 

Theft from Kohl's 

Sarah Zmola, 31, from the 4400 block of Arbor Circle in Downers Grove, was arrested around 3:30 p.m. and charged with retail theft after she removed miscellaneous cosmetics and clothing from Kohl’s, 1001 75th St., police said.  

Trailer stolen 

Someone removed a trailer in the 2500 block of 107th Street between 3:30 a.m. July 28 and 3:30 a.m. July 29, police said.

July 28 

Home window smashed 

Someone smashed the front window of a home during the overnight hours in the 1300 block of Tower Hill Drive, police said.
