Someone took various skin care items around 6:30 p.m. from , 8645 Woodward Ave., police said. 

Mailbox damaged

Someone damaged a mailbox overnight in the 6600 block of Greene Road, police said. 

Dec. 15 

Theft from Office Max

Someone stole an office chair from , 7250 Woodward Ave., and fled in a car around 2 p.m., police said.

Theft from Kohl's 

Someone removed a bottle of cologne around 6:30 p.m. from , 1001 75th St., police said. 

Grill stolen from balcony  

Someone stole a grill from the balcony of an apartment between 6:10 p.m. and 7 p.m. in the 2600 block of Meadowdale Lane, police said.

Home burglary 

Someone took various electronics around 8:15 p.m. in the 7700 block of Woodward Avenue, police said. 

Car windshield smashed

Someone smashed the windshield of a car with an unknown object between 2 p.m. on Dec. 12 and 12:30 a.m. on Dec. 13, police said. 

Driving under the influence 

Thomas Akowuah, 36, from the 7700 block of Woodward Avenue, was arrested around 7 a.m. and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following an accident near the intersection of 83^rd Street and Piers Drive, police said.

Theft from Kohl's 

Someone took various items from Kohl's, 1001 75th St., around 2 p.m. and fled in a car, police said. 

Dec. 10 

Side mirror damaged

Someone damaged the driver’s side mirror of a car in the 8100 block of Route 53 between 1:30 a.m. and 10:40 a.m., police said. 

Theft from Kohl's 

Gloria Villalpando, 52, from the 500 block of Preston Drive, was arrested around 2:45 p.m. and charged with retail theft after she removed various items from Kohl’s, 1001 75th St., police said.

Building marked with graffiti 

Someone marked the side of a building with graffiti in the 2000 block of 75th Street between 6 p.m. on Dec. 8 and 9 a.m. on Dec. 9, police said.

Tires slashed

Someone slashed two tires of a car around 9:40 p.m. in the 6300 block of Main Street, police said.
