Police Blotter: Energy Drinks Stolen, Window Screens Damaged

Tuesday, July 5 

Retail theft from Target 

A juvenile, 16, from Downers Grove, was arrested around 5:45 p.m. and charged with retail theft after he or she removed various items from , 2333 63rd St., police said. The items were valued at $150.

July 4

Driving under the influence

James Koudelka, 53, from the 6300 block of Marshall Drive, was arrested around 7:30 p.m. and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop near the intersection of Route 53 and Summerhill Drive, police said. 

Bike stolen 

A thief removed a bike parked in the detached garage of a residence in the 7700 block of Woodward Avenue between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., police said. 

July 3 

Screen, window damaged 

A vandal damaged a window screen and a window in a Cornell Interventions building in the 2200 block of 64th Street between 6 p.m. on July 3 and 9 a.m on July 4, police said. 

Energy drinks taken from Jewel-Osco

A thief took several energy drinks from, 2317 75th St., around 1 p.m., police said.

July 2 

Retail theft from Kohl's 

Nicole Elam, 22, from the 600 block of Ivy Lane in Willowbrook, was arrested around 6:22 p.m. and charged with retail theft after she removed various clothing items from , 1001 75th St., police said.  

Tire, rim stolen and replaced with spares 

A thief removed a tire and rim and replaced it with a spare tire and rim between noon and 1 p.m. in the 7500 block of Woodward Avenue, police said. 

July 1

Sarah Eckhardt, 19, from Naperville, was arrested around 5:45 p.m. and charged with retail theft after she removed various items from , 2333 63rd St., police said.  

Window screen cut 

Someone cut the screen to a window in the 2400 block of Manchester Court around 1 p.m., police said. 

June 30 

Necklace stolen

An intruder removed a necklace from a residence in the 2700 block of Hobson Road around 3:30 p.m., police said.

Cement garbage can damaged 

A vandal damaged a cement garbage can around 7:45 p.m. in the 2600 block of Center Drive, police said.
