The school had been without power from 12:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, according to a school release.
"We are in close communication with Commonwealth Edison and hope to have the power restored shortly," the release said.

All students were able to go to the cafeteria for lunch, and the school had resumed its regular bell schedule.
Students were released at 3:20 p.m. All after-school clubs were cancelled, as well as the 4:45 p.m. activities bus.

All athletic events were still scheduled except for freshman and JV volleyball.
"Please know that all students and staff are safe," officials said.
