Woodridge Benet Students Named AP Scholars

Four Benet students from Woodridge received honors for their scores on AP tests last spring.

Four students at from Woodridge have earned AP Scholar Awards based on their AP test scores from last spring. The scores are graded out of 5. 

Roy Taylor qualified for the AP Scholar with Distinction Award, earning an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP exams taken and grades of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams.

Elaine Krebs was recognized as an AP Scholar with Honor, earning an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP exams taken and grades of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams.

Timothy Menich and Katie Ortman were recognized as AP Scholars by completing three or more AP exams with scores of 3 or higher.

Only 18 percent of the more than 1.8 million high school students worldwide who took AP exams through May 2011 performed at a sufficiently high level to merit these recognitions, according to a Benet release.
