The story explains how the Victorian Gothic library embraces its haunted reputation with annual ghost tours, overnight investigations, and even live camera feeds, while also spotlighting other spooky destinations across the state. 
2. EPD: Two people arrested for dealing marijuana, leaving it out with children around (14news.com) — Evansville police say two adults were arrested after officers responding to a domestic violence call on Alyssum Drive found large amounts of marijuana and synthetic cannabinoids accessible to several children. Investigators later arrested one suspect at a Cross Pointe Boulevard hotel, recovered additional drugs and ammo, and charged both with neglect, dealing, and maintaining a common nuisance, among other counts.
3. Indiana Rangers receive presidential unit citation (tristatehomepage.com) — Indiana Rangers from the National Guard have finally received a long-delayed Presidential Unit Citation for their heroism in Vietnam, along with Indiana's Sagamore of the Wabash honor. While the ceremony took place at a statewide conference, some of the decorated Rangers came from the Evansville area, giving local families a powerful new recognition of their loved ones' service.
4. Family identifies two killed in Pike County crash (14news.com) — An Evansville-based report shares that family members have identified Amanda Wertman and her 8-year-old daughter Michaela as the two people killed in Saturday's Pike County crash on State Road 64. Four other children, including 5-year-old Theodore Wertman, remain hospitalized, and a GoFundMe has already raised most of its $20,000 goal to help with medical and family expenses.
5. Protests call on IN Governor to end ICE detentions across the state (14news.com) — Evansville residents joined a statewide "Weekend of Public Witness" protesting ICE detention, rallying Sunday at MLK and Main to call on Gov. Mike Braun to end the practice. Speakers, including organizer Stuart Mora, described alleged abuse in detention centers and highlighted how detainment has separated longtime Indiana residents from their families, while local groups collected donations for the Immigration Welcome and Resource Center.
