• Multiple Kentucky departments battle house fire in Clay City (fox56news.com) — Firefighters from Irvine’s Hargett Volunteer Fire Department joined multiple agencies Saturday night to battle a dangerous house fire in nearby Clay City that displaced an elderly resident. Crews worked for hours in extreme heat, using an excavator to reach hot spots, and the Red Cross is now helping the homeowner recover.
